Reminders

The Reminders feature in IssueTrak allows you to set reminders related to the “Required By” and “Target” dates related to an Issue or Project. In addition, Reminders may be set related to the “Due Date” within a Task, and the date fields within an Asset Record, such as “Lease Expiration,” “Maintenance Expiration” and “Warranty Expiration.”

As many of the fields and capabilities within IssueTrak are optional, you may have to enable certain fields or capabilities in order to set Reminders.

The “Required By Date” and “Target Date” fields in an issue are enabled in Administration > System > System Settings > Optional Fields. All Tasks include a “Due Date” field, but Tasks must first be enabled in Administration > System > System Settings > Optional Fields. All Projects include a “Required By Date” and a “Target Date” field, but Projects must first be enabled in Administration > System > System Settings > Features. All Asset Records include a “Lease Expiration,” “Maintenance Expiration” and “Warranty Expiration” field, but the Asset Management Module must first be activated in Administration > System > System Settings > Add-On Modules.
